Research Interests
The Bethel lab uses a variety of computational and experimental techniques to explore protein ensembles and conformational change. Proteins are responsible for the vast majority of functions in biology, and we intend to uncover how proteins wiggle and jiggle to accomplish these function. Additionally, we use de novo protein design to apply these principles to new proteins with functions not observed in nature.
